Creative Spotlight: BGLD

November 4, 2010

Creative Spotlights are part of the THS dedication to Handmade Christmas 2010. I’m bringing you the goods, showing off the talents of some of my favorite creators!  Just a reminder, there are several different ways to participate, and several different reasons why you should consider joining us for Handmade Christmas 2010.

Ever since my best friend, Danielle, became pregnant with Baby A, I’ve been on the lookout for the most adorable handmade gifts for children.  When I came across BGLD, I knew I had found a treasure trove.

BGLD stands for Bubble Gum & Lemon Drops.  Perfect for a shop dedicated to children’s gifts, isn’t it?  I love all their adorable animal wall art and prints.

“We take great pride in creating special gifts that we hope will inspire kids and parents alike to keep family as close to their heart as it is to ours. We hope you enjoy our creations and that our products help you make sweet memories of your own.”

BGLD recently released some Christmas items, including these adorable personalized stockings. I’d like to hang one of these numbers by the chimney with care!

Special Treat: THS readers are eligible for 15% off their entire order at the BGLD etsy shop.  Just enter the code “thenheathersaid15” in the notes to seller section at check out!

I ordered some Halloween items from them to be shipped direct to family in another state. Not only did it arrive in plenty of time, but the ladies actually put some extras in the trick-or-treat bucket – bubble gum and lemon drops – naturally! It was my Nephew’s 1st lemon drop, now he’s hooked! Cute stuff, great service and personal attention. A rare combination in this day and age.
